The PaperVision® application automates the importing and indexing of electronic files directly into the document and content management system. It works with any electronic file from any source or media, including images; documents from network scanners, digital photocopiers or fax server; as well as original electronic files on individual workstations.
Files are integrated and indexed by folder and/or file names, as well as by the last date they were modified. They can also be searched for, using specific words or phrases within the file. Version control and document check-in/check-out features ensure that users are working with the latest and most accurate version of a document.
